Indiana Criminal History Search

The Indiana State Police Level Check History (LCH) system provides statewide criminal history records. The fee is $15.70 by credit card online or $7.00 by mail. Access the portal at in.gov/ai/appfiles/isp-lch/. Records in the LCH come from courts and agencies across all 92 Indiana counties, including Hancock County, and are maintained under IC 10-13-2.

The LCH provides a statewide view and is useful when you need to check criminal history across multiple counties. Combining the LCH search with a local Hancock County request gives the most thorough results, since some records may not have been submitted to the state repository.
